 Kristine Lucas has long been teaching permanent and traditional makeup. Soon enough, her passion for teaching became her mission and paved the way to what is now Permanent Makeup Academy Ph. Today, Permanent Makeup Academy PH (PMUAPH) is the most sought after training center for aspiring makeup artists for permanent makeup, eyebrow embroidery and aesthetics training here in Manila and elsewhere in the Philippines. In less than 2 years, PMUAPH has grown tremendously and has produced hundreds of new artists, freelancers and leaders in permanent makeup, eyebrow embroidery and aesthetics. Kristine "Tin" Lucas

Permanent Makeup Academy PH Kristine Lucas Head Trainer 

loving wife, mother of three and an entrepreneur. Before venturing into the aesthetics industry, her first stint was as a Marketing Manager for a well-known I.T. Company. Though already successful in her initial career, her innate skills and love for Makeup keeps resurfacing. What started as a hobby that she enjoyed for herself slowly found its way to family and friends. This then made her decide to finally take formal training. What she initially thought would just hone her skills did more than that. This opened to more opportunities and endless possibilities than she expected.

She started training locally at The Basement Academy (now called HD Academy), Center for Aesthetics Sciences (CAS), Makeup Forever & Kryolan Philippines.

To further hone her skills and equip herself with the necessary tools to realize her dream of creating not only a name in the industry but to provide quality service to her clients, she then pursued further studies abroad. She continued her makeup training both under Kryolan & Muse Beauty Pro in San Francisco, Salon Boutique Academy in Texas and Yumi Lashes in Beverly Hills, LA. Realizing the latest trend in Permanent Makeup, she then took lessons in Eyebrow Embroidery & Permanent Makeup in Aesthetics International Academy in Singapore and Pitangui Lee Na Young Academy in Korea, Biotouch in Thailand, Biotouch in the US and attended the Permanent Makeup Convention in Amsterdam, Netherlands.   

She also became a guest makeup artist for the infamous Jing Monis Salon in Greenbelt and Alabang. Jing Monis is a well-known Makeup and Hairstylist with over 25 years of experience and presence in the industry. 

She was then slowly carving a name for herself in the industry thus started doing several projects for TV networks and their personalities. Kristine Reyes, Danica Sotto, Denise Laurel, Jonalyn Viray and even the famous broadcast journalist – Mike Enriquez to name a few. 

From concert gigs for Kevyn Lettau and The Company, print ads for Sen. Manny Pacquiao, for Chefs Roland & Jackie Laudico's billboards for Robina Farms to Magazine projects where she has done some stints on behalf of Jing Monis Salon for BC Magazine, Philippine Tatler and Working Mom for The Bloc by Junie Sierra. 

Several corporate AVPs are also under her belt. This includes, and not limited to, Metrobank, BPI, Maxicare and the First ever Digital Billboard for Globe Telecom. 

All these eventually gave way to her being interviewed in TV with Vicky Morales in The Good News, was featured in Smart Parenting magazine and also became a print ad endorser for Celeteque and Rexona.

At present, Kristine Lucas is the current Makeup Trainer for Pretty Girl Manila, Head Trainer / Owner of Permanent Makeup Academy PH and Master Makeup Artist / Owner of The Aesthetic Studio by Kristine Lucas. 

Kristine and her team are continuously enhancing their skills and updating themselves with the latest international trends and developments thru constant trainings here and abroad. This is in line with their commitment to deliver quality, the latest yet affordable aesthetic, makeup and beauty trainings and services to the Philippines.

Emily Santiago-Fernando

Emily Fernando Permanent Makeup Academy PH Mentor

She is an advocate of being, she retired early from a lucrative corporate job to give way to what she really loves doing make other people beautiful!

She then took personal makeup classes at Center for Aesthetics, Beauty, and Fashion Makeup at HD Studio and Academy, and Airbrush Makeup and Hair Styling class under Ms. Kristine Lucas. Wanting to advance her skills and to be updated with the current trend in makeup, she studied Semi and Permanent Makeup at Permanent Makeup Academy.

Since then, Ms. Fernando has been busy doing makeups for bridal, debut, and corporate shoot events.

Being a happily married woman and a mother to ___ successful grown up children, when asked, she loves giving advices to her clients on different topics pertaining life; making her not only an expert in makeup but also a second mother to her clients.

Mel Gatchalian

Mel Gatchalian Permanent Makeup Academy PH Mentor

A former Account Executive in an advertising company and photographer for a well-known Mabuhay Magazine, Mel Gatchalian's passion for makeup led her to take up formal trainings and pursue a career in the makeup industry. She is now a certified Permanent Makeup Instructor and Airbrush and Traditional Makeup Artist.

Being a busy bee, Ms. Gatchalian is also into building and selling of homes. She is a cancer survivor, designer, and also a painter.

Her passion in makeup helped her to earn more and been able to focus on a lot of things that she really likes best where she said she can get instant gratification, genuine camaraderie and endless learning.

Vannie Eribal

Vannie Eribal Permanent Makeup Academy PH Mentor

Vannie Eribal is born an artist and always have an eye for beauty and fashion. She started doing makeup for her friends in 2008 and decided to level up her innate skills in makeup when she took up formal training at HD Academy in 2012.

To keep herself updated in the latest trends in makeup, she also enrolled herself at The Aesthetics Studio by Kristine Lucas in 2017 and studied Permanent Makeup.

At present, Vannie is creating a name in the industry thus leaving her extremely busy with makeup gigs debut, wedding, private and corporate events.

 

Joanne Rose Rodriguez Batino

Joanne Batino Permanent Makeup Academy PH Mentor

Joan’s humble beginnings started at Ricky Reyes Learning Institute where she took formal training in Hairdressing and Hairstyling. 

She then pursued additional training at Tesda’s NC2 on Beauty Care and Hairdressing where she graduated with honors in Cosmetology. 

Furthermore, she finished her Korean Lash Extension Training in 2017. 

Over the years, she has been personally trained and molded by Kristine Lucas which made Joan her most trusted right hand and her factotum - thus an added credibility and advantage to Joan. Her style, technique and approach has been pretty similar to Kristine’s. 

At present, Joan is the Branch Manager and Senior Therapist at The Aesthetics Studio by Kristine Lucas. 

Being part of Kristine’s team, Joan dreams of creating a name in the industry and is continuously undergoing training for her advancement and to be up to par with the latest trends.

Jahra Legaspi is a multi-channel marketing expert for an advertising agency & digital marketing consulting company. Digital marketer by profession but mother as a passion. Eman Buhat (guy on the left) Eman was a former contributor and sub-fashion editor for a Philippine Fashion Magazine. He is currently focused on developing his skills as a visual communicator. Eman has always loved thinking visually and considered himself fortunate to be in an industry where he can work with typography and imagery to create a compelling message. Each of these experience has shaped the Creative Direct that he is today.
